Endorsed Ministries are ministries
by those affiliated with the ELCA in Metro St. Louis. Many of them are grassroots
ministries started by ELCA parishioners. Their missions are consistent
with the synods and the Coalition. They have sought this status, have met
the criteria established by the Board, actively participate in the
leadership and life of the Coalition and report regularly to the Board on
their progress. The Coalition is committed to coordinating efforts to
promote and publicize their activities.
The St. Louis region is blessed with a wide variety of ELCA
Endorsed Ministries to serve those in need within our community.
These ministries are a blessing to the people they serve. Each
ministry is experiencing a tremendous need for volunteers at
this time. Volunteer opportunities range from one-time to weekly
opportunities. Please contact the ELCA in Metro St. Louis office at
(314) 725-9710 to learn more about how you can be a blessing to
others through sharing your time to serve those in need through
one of these ministry opportunities.

Lutheran Campus Ministry
(LCM) - Reaching out to all Lutheran students and welcoming all
who are interested, LCM seeks to help students celebrate God’s
love in worship, to serve others, to ask questions, to develop
friendships and community and to become leaders in any of these
areas. LCM offers a “place of grace” in the Lutheran
tradition. We do all this because we are convinced
of God’s unbounded love for us in Christ Jesus. Students are
welcomed into ministry with us through worship, fellowship, and
faith connection/community service opportunities.
The leadership teams at Washington University and St. Louis
University are undergraduate students involved in the planning,
leading, and evaluating LCM programming. They welcome ideas and
more leaders! LCM would also like to have someone to help
coordinate and schedule student volunteers. If you are
interested, please contact Pastor Rebecca Boardman at
(314) 863-8140 or email.
